WPC Mission - The
Westlake Parent Connection is a non-profit, parent-led group, assembled to
educate, communicate, and network about tough issues confronting the youth
and parents in the greater Westlake, Ohio, community.
Vision Statement - We envision a community that is known for its parental outreach and is free from underage alcohol and tobacco use, illegal drug use, and violence. |

More importantly, you've sent the message to many Westlake teens, including my own, that their parents aren't the only ones with "ridiculous" rules and the courage to enforce them. Keeping our teens safe as they mature into responsible young adults is neither fun nor easy, but having a group like the WPC as a presence in our community has helped me to have honest, courageous conversations with my children about many important issues.
