The school district has various resources to reach out to students who need help, including a School Resource Officer at the high school, four guidance counselors, an intervention counselor and the high school administration. Two examples at the school level at Westlake High School include peer mediation and Project Love, an extracurricular student group that focuses on diversity awareness and conflict resolution. At the community level we value our relationships with our parents and work with the Westlake Parent Connection to better inform parents about social and emotional issues that may impact their children. The district also maintains a Safe School Helpline -(440) 250-1199 - where anyone can anonymously report matters of concern.
