This hands-on workshop goes beyond the average computer warnings. You'll walk away knowing how to track where your kids have been online, how to improve their self-protection and critical thinking skills, and so much more. The Rocky River Parent Support Network is a support group designed to provide parents of special needs children with information on how to advocate for their children. Organized four years ago by three moms, the goal is to provide support, friendship and resources to parents in need. Our meetings are open to all parents of special needs children. PATHS: Parents Are Teaching and Talking about Healthy Sexuality.
We know that talking to your kids about sex can be uncomfortable and embarrassing. But without the proper information, children are at risk for sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies. The PATTHS (Parents are Teaching and Talking about Healthy Sexuality) workshop will help parents "Have the Talk" and speak to children honestly about abstinence, sexuality and reproduction as well as help improve communication.
